REACHING OUT TEA ROOMS
A cuppa for a cause
Reaching Out Tea Rooms is a living, breathing relic. The diminutive building—which is the colour of a French mustard bottle and decorated with fanciful antiques—is cavernous, with high ceilings and a peaceful, tropical courtyard. It's run by a dedicated crew of hearing impaired staff. Orders are taken in silence, from a menu made up of quaint wooden blocks and are then served in the most intricate, ornate crockery and glassware handmade by their Reaching Out artisan cousins in a small workshop down the alley. It's an experience that can't be beaten - and one that is Instagrammed more often than high tea at Claridges.
Giving back - Reaching out is a very worthy social enterprise
