Yoga,well-being and simply delicious vegetarian food
No matter how organised you are, the week before a holiday can be hell. Especially in today’s climate - where being an indispensible part of the workforce truly matters. What this usually means is a week of long hours and stress. With the increased workload you end up with just enough time to shove a few things in a case the night before your flight (where you’ll spend the next 10-hours worrying whether you left the front door open/oven on/or if you accidently packed the cat in your suitcase). Hardly the perfect start to a relaxing break.
To get you back into that ‘zen’ zone or if you are in need of some TLC for the soul, you need to book a class with Nomad Yoga, Hoi An.

The Setting & Space
Located about a five-minute taxi journey away from the old town or beach, you’ll find Nomad Yoga hidden down the end of a long residential street in a two-storey house overlooking the rice fields. Nomad isn’t a luxury retreat, so don’t expect over-the-top, five-star facilities, what you’ll find instead is a little Hoi An oasis, where you can fully re-charge in a relaxed, friendly and unpretentious setting.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a well-looked after, petit patio garden that leads through to Nomad Cafe, a quaint and simple space where you’ll be treated to homemade veggie soul food. The menu is packed with flavourful, creative and delicious dishes that include all types of fresh, vibrant veggies, many of them straight from the Cam Kim organic farm project (just one of the numerous charities and community projects that Nomad strive to support) who grow everything from rocket, herbs and salad, to chillies.
Don’t expect plain old rice and veggie curry (although the veggie curry is divine!), the menu theme changes weekly, flitting through continents - Pad Thai, Poutine, chilli con beans, lasagna and too many salads to mention.
The yoga studio is set on the second floor in a bright and breezy room with views of the surrounding countryside. It's simple, but has everything a small class would need. The ambience instantly lifts the mindset, encouraging you to unwind.
Classes & Workshops
Nomad offers a number of packages, from holistic spa to spiritual meditation to yoga. When the weather allows, they also run regular classes at Hoi An's, An Bang beach.
For those looking for a complete change of pace, Nomad also offer certified yoga teacher training courses, which are run by resident yogis from their partner school, Rishikul Yogshala in Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world.
They also host 'pop-up' style classes and workshops run by nomadic instructors and well-being practitioners passing through town.
