MOT HOI AN
Herbalists have long advocated the hangover-reducing power of peppermint tea, the convalescent quality of ginger to ease stomach trouble and nausea; In all it's guises, a cup of teas carminative qualities ease the mind.
Our favourite tea boy is Mot who's family roots lie firmly in the traditional herbal remedy trade (his cute kerb-side cafe is in the courtyard of his parents home in the old town).
Ever the entrepreneur, Mot has expanded his empire to four little tables inside his family's ancient Chinese traders home and has added smoothies and traditional Hoi An dishes - like cao lau, banh mi and pho to his menu.
