TACO NGON
Coast's Danang dining pick

A short stroll from the Dragon Bridge is the highly Taco NGON made its start as a mobile Asian fusion food stand complete with pavement dining, an opportunity for aspiring Taiwanese chef Elin to try out a new concept menu of Asian style tacos. Her now-legendary wasabi pork, sweet chilli chicken and fish tacos quickly made Elin into the most celebrated chef on the Eastside and she has since parked her cart up in a cool brick-and-mortar restaurant several lanes back from the sea.
Sadly, in August Elin had to go home to Taiwan, leaving her taco baby in the capable hands of David and Nhung who share Elin's passion for the taco. The restaurant is tiny, not much more than a hole in the wall and only open for a few hours a day from 4pm-10, but it draws a fun crowd who will more than likely lead you astray. We promise you'll not find a better taco in the city.
